The Cursed Word - WARNING: Very Graphic Material!

I have to say, I might be seen as an asshole to the millions and millions of my non-fans, but I got one superfan that takes care of me, oh so good. She's a hot little sex kitten, named lovingly, Sweets... Laura Chinn, the girl of my dreams. Besides my son, she's pretty much all the family I feel that I really have. For her, the Cursed is blessed. She's good to me, I couldn't ask for anything more. Thanks Laura, for putting up with me... I know I'm a huge pain in the ass. I know it's hard to love me... but you are every bit as hardcore as I am. I love ya.

Now, on to the rest of the blog...

Mick Foley has agreed to terms with TNA and will debut as soon as he is contractually free to do so. His WWE contract expires within days.

Foley's TNA deal was worked out with help from Spike TV, which may have subsidized the contract. He may end up being involved in other Spike TV projects.

Foley was dropped from WWE storylines once WWE learned that he was unhappy and likely not renewing his deal and instead interested in signing with TNA.

While there's been a lot of buzz about Foley in the locker room among wrestlers, the management team had been quiet about it and perhaps largely out of the loop, but were hopeful Dixie Carter was getting the deal done.

The Cursed Word: I can't wait to see Mick show up in the iMPACT ZONE! Mick Foley has given his dues to our industry and now that he is wanting to go to TNA proves just how much WWE has lost it's touch. Just what Mick will be doing for TNA is anybody's guess, but I know he's got a lot of pent up agression and most likely will shoot on WWE with all due intentions... It will be interesting to see if we will be seeing Cactus Jack again...

Raven and others sue WWE.

For 20 years, K&L Gates lawyer Jerry McDevitt has guided the WWE through everything from a steroid trial to an initial public offering. And the work isn't letting up.

On Friday, McDevitt and a team of lawyers from Day Pitney removed a lawsuit to federal court that has the potential to dramatically change the company's finances -- and, possibly, its stock price, according to one WWE executive. In the case, filed in July, three wrestlers claim they function as full-time employees (the company even determines their hairstyles) but are classified as independent contractors -- a status that costs them benefits and deprives the IRS of taxes, the complaint claims.

The wrestlers, Scott "Raven" Levy, Christopher "Kanyon" Kluscartis and "Above Average" Michael Sanders are represented by litigation boutique Silver, Golub & Teitell in Stamford, Conn., the WWE's hometown.

McDevitt says the suit is bogus but won't reveal his argument. He's saving those details for a motion to dismiss that the team will file in federal court this week, he says.

Meanwhile, the WWE and Chairman Vince McMahon are keeping McDevitt busy, he says. The company fended off accusations that former star Chris Benoit went into a steroid-induced "rage" before murdering his wife and son, then killing himself last year, McDevitt says. WWE is in court trying to void its video game licenses, claiming two companies bribed a former WWE executive and licensing agent to get the lucrative deals.

And there's always the big panda in the courtroom. The World Wildlife Fund is still seeking damages abroad related to the successful litigation in which it claimed and won ownership of the "WWF" acronym and trademark. "The WWE has been a great client," he says, "but unfortunately, they are sometimes faced with lawsuits like this."

I am Michael Scott LaVey (born Feburary 27th, 1980) in Hell for Certain, Kentucky, better known by my ring name, The Cursed, an American professional wrestler. I am currently signed to Project X Wrestling and Supreme Alliance Wrestling (SAW). I love a fight. I hate when people get in my way. I have no fear, matter of fact, I often wonder if I have any feeling at all. There is only one thing important to me and that is to destroy everything in my path... Glory to me is gory to most. I have no problem facing anyone in any hardcore match situation they dare face me in... Bring it on. I am ready, are you?

List Of Past Appearances and Comments:

World Wrestling Coalition Ryan's Sight Fight August 9, 2008. Township Building Gym. Aberdeen, OH I was involved in the first match of this great card, a battle royal. This is without a doubt the best show I've ever been part of and I am thankful, yes, me... THANKFUL for all four hundred plus that came to watch Abyss, Shark Boy, all the great wrestlers on the WWC roster and others, showing their support for Ryan! He's a great kid and he will see because of help from fans like you! The DVD will be released in September with 1/2 the proceeds of the DVD going to the Nolder Family. This is one of the reasons why I sacrifice... And I am no where near done!

World Wrestling Coalition Tri-State Rumble January 26, 2008. Adams County Fairgrounds. West Union, OH Entry in Rumble: 10 Eliminated: 9 Number of Eliminations: 2 (Scary Gary and "Damn Fine" Jason Taylor)

I took Jason Taylor over the ropes and when I spun around to find my next victim my feet went out from under me... I hit my face hard on the mat... After that was a blur... Taylor got one up on me... AGAIN... I am not happy about this... Oh Jason, Jason, Jason... I am coming to get you Jason... I will make you bleed... I will make you pray for your very soul. If we meet again. I will slay you... I WILL SLAY YOU!!!

Project X Wrestling Hardcore Halloween

Flash Fury outlasted 15 other men in a Battle Royal, and defeated "The Omega" Aaron Draven in a Ladder Match, to become the first ever PXW Adrenaline Champion. I was in this one but numbers have not been posted. All I know is it's Jason Taylor's fault I lost my chances at that title.

Psycho defeated me after special referee "Damn Fine" Jason Taylor pushed me, allowing Psycho to hit a school boy roll-up. After the match, I attacked Taylor... Taylor laid me out... How I don't know... I mean this guy is old... Rock N' Roll Express OLD! I got him back at the Tri-State Rumble and I know... That's not the last time I'll be seeing him cause I ain't through being a thorn in his side, a nail in his coffin... I will finish him.

Tropic Thunder Review

I think everyone and every thing was equally made fun of in this film, unlike most the `Movie flicks that have been out and yes another one is coming out Disaster Movie, blah... Tropic Thunder spoofed everything, but had an original story! Hardcore comedy, a whole two hours of laughing my ass off so hard that I got popcorn caught in my windpipe... I'd say this is the best comedy I've seen in a long time. Tom Cruse stole the show though, funny shit, never thought I'd see that side of him.

Tropic Thunder

Portrayal of mental retardation

From Wikipedia.org

Tropic Thunder has caused controversy in the disability advocacy community. A website for Simple Jack, a faux film exhibited within the film, was pulled on August 4, amid several groups' concerns over its portrayal of mental retardation, called "intellectual disabilities" by disability advocacy groups. A spokesman for DreamWorks stated "We heard their concerns, and we understand that taken out of context, the site appeared to be insensitive to people with disabilities." A coalition of more than 22 disability advocacy groups, including the Special Olympics and the Arc of the United States, object to the repeated use of the word "retard", which disability advocates call "the R-word" because of its negative connotations. DreamWorks initially spoke of screening the film with the groups to determine if the film still offended the groups. However, the screening was postponed to the same day of the premiere on August 11 instead of August 8. After some representatives for the groups saw the private screening, they picketed outside the film's premiere. Timothy Shriver, the chairman of the Special Olympics stated "This population struggles too much with the basics to have to struggle against Hollywood. We're sending a message that this hate speech is no longer acceptable."

Disability advocates and others who have previewed the film report that the offensive treatment of individuals with mental disabilities is woven throughout the film’s plot. Disability advocates are urging people not to see the film, claiming it is demeaning to individuals with mental disabilities. They fear it will encourage bullying. Etan Cohen, the co-writer of the film, claimed "Some people have taken this as making fun of handicapped people, but we're really trying to make fun of the actors who use this material as fodder for acclaim." He went on to state that the film lampoons actors such as Dustin Hoffman and Tom Hanks who portrayed mentally retarded characters in Rain Man and Forrest Gump, respectively. A DreamWorks spokesman did not directly respond to the criticism, stating that the film "...is an R-rated comedy that satirizes Hollywood and its excesses, makes its point by featuring inappropriate and over-the top characters in ridiculous situations." The film's advertising has been altered, but none of the scenes in the film were edited as a result of the opposition.

My views: My friends and I have always called each other retarded when someone does something stupid. Calling someone retarded doesn't mean they are mentally handicapped, we'd never call someone who has a disability, retarded. We've even had people who are disabled call us retarded for some of the stunts we used to pull. Example: The only guy in The Ringer that I would say has been retarded at some points in his life was Johnny Knoxville. By having all these great people picketing the film, your being retarded. Same goes with gay. Hell, I'll say someone is being gay if they are just being their for their woman instead of their bros! I know gay people and they find that funny too. Besides, it's a comedy! Comics say what ever they want and people laugh cause... It's funny! Get over it, quit wasting your time being retarded and have fun watching Tropic Thunder... I will.

Hate me, like me, agree, disagree... I don't care, it needs to be said.

Congress twice passed the Stem Cell Research Enhancement Act with strong bipartisan support and both times President Bush vetoed the bill.

I am helping in every way I can, because I believe in this with all my heart, but why does a great kid like Ryan Nolder have to go all the way to China to get what he needs to live a better life? The future of mankind lies in Stem Cell Research. (And don't give me the "we're acting like we are god" crap cause if you know anything about all the gods of all religions (who happen to be the all the same what ever it is) want us to be everything we can be. So if we figure something out, we should use the intelligence given from it.) We can save lives with the cloning of cells. I agree, cloning complete people (just for parts) is wrong. But, if you can save lives, if you can give people the ability to see, the ability to hear, the ability to do the things that most of us take for granted... Why wouldn't you make it happen!?! I hope, who ever the next president is, has some brains and passes the Stem Cell Research Enhancement Act, so our future looks so much brighter. This issue must be brought to the limelight. This needs to happen, maybe for the sake of us all...

A local boy, from Maysville, Kentucky, Ryan Nolder age 7, is asking for your help. Ryan was born with Optic Nerve Hypoplasia, a medical condition that results in underdevelopment of the optic nerves, and is almost blind. He has 0% vision in his left eye and only 20% vision in his right. Ryan has the chance to see the things that we take for granted. In China doctors have had success with a Stem Cell treatment. The trips, treatments, and recovery will cost the family around $60,000. An account has been setup for Ryan at the Bank of Maysville. You can also go to www. maysvillekybbs. com or www. ryanssightfight. com and donate online. T-shirts are also available.
